Dr. Faiza Upal, MD, CCFP – Owner of Opal Medical Clinic and Aesthetics. Dr. Upal specializes in Aesthetics and Family Medicine in Calgary, Alberta.

MEET Tyla Tkachyk, NP
Tyla Tkachyk, NP –
Tyla started her nursing career in 1997 at the University of Calgary and gained immense knowledge and experience working in trauma surgery, ER, Labor and Delivery and the Neuro/Trauma Intensive Care Unit at the Foothills Medical Centre as a registered nurse.
Her passion for caring for people led her to further her education and she graduated from Athabasca University with her Master of Nursing /Nurse Practitioner degree.

Assistant Manager
Originally from Langley, BC, our Assistant Manager Nicole moved to Calgary in February 2022. She has over 10 years experience in healthcare settings and retains a ‘patient-first’ attitude.
Amanda
Licensed Practical Nurse
Amanda brings a wide range of knowledge and experience in primary care, geriatrics and gender affirming care. As a nurse, she will be assisting the medical providers with assessments, clinical procedures, laboratory testing and vitamin treatments.

Marketing Director
Abby is a student at the University of Calgary focusing her area of study in Visual Arts and Humanities. She is new to medicine but not to customer service!
