Ideal for all skin types, our Rejuvenation Facials are your go-to solution for a luminous, ageless appearance.
Our Elite IQ laser targets pigment, redness and broken capillaries. The laser light is attracted to the pigment in the skin which then shatters the pigment leaving you with a more even skin tone. The laser also targets the capillaries in the skin coagulating the blood causing a “cut off” of the supply capillary. This laser facial is more intense then the feathering facial, and is only recommended for skin types 1 to 3.
Rejuvenation facials are designed to drive youth back into the skin by tightening, and evening the complexion by targeting those reds and browns.
You may notice results as soon as one treatment but we recommend 3 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart for optimal results.
Rare side effects may include: burning, blistering, and scarring
Common side effects: redness, “sunburn” feeling
Sun-tanning, or the use of tanning beds and self tanner. Skin types 4, 5 and 6. Women who are pregnant.
During a rejuvenation facial appointment, patients can expect a process that involves several steps, designed to ensure comfort, safety, and effectiveness of the treatment. Here’s a general outline of what happens during a rejuvination facial treatment:
1. Consultation and Assessment: The appointment might start with a final consultation if not done previously, where the practitioner assesses the patient’s skin, discusses expectations, and confirms that there are no contraindications to the procedure.
2.Procedure: During this step patients will start to feel warmth in the skin, similar to a “sunburn” feeling. It is bearable and comfortable and the heat and redness will subside within minutes. It is more intense than the feathering facial.
3.Post Procedure: Patients will be sent home with after care instructions, including proper skin protection with products. Patients will want to avoid strenuous activity for 24 hours.
Avoid strenuous activity for 24 hours. Avoid direct sunlight and the use of tanning beds, apply SPF 30 or more. Avoid retinoids, benzoyl peroxide, and acid based products such as salicylic, glycolic, and lactic acid.
